The calendar in my office says it's May 20th. It's the anniversary of Sam's first leap, but no one here is celebrating, least of all me.

It's hard to believe that it's been ten years, or that even with all the funding cuts we've managed to keep the project going this long.

Project Quantum Leap isn't like it used to be, we don't have the same resources or research capabilities we once did, but I'll be damned if I'll let anyone shut us down. Sam's still out there, and if it's the last thing I do, I'll bring him home.
